How we operate
If you would like to engage our services for an investigation, we will always first invite you to a no-obligation initial meeting. During this meeting, we will discuss your case in more detail and we will also determine whether you have a legitimate interest in the assignment. We decide whether or not to take on your assignment on this basis. If we do, we will send you our proposal including a plan of action and a quotation. As soon as we have reached an agreement, our investigators will start with the assignment.
Procedure and duration of the investigation
The procedure and duration of our investigations vary per case, depending on the assignment, objective and process of law we are required to follow. For example, a duty of disclosure applies, which means that the person involved must be informed of the investigation at a certain point in time. In addition, our investigations are carried out on the basis of proportionality and subsidiarity, which is required by law in the Netherlands. These concepts and procedures will be explained in more detail during the initial meeting.
All investigations and reports are safely documented and stored. Upon conclusion of an investigation, we will also provide you with a final report that includes the findings, analyses and, if required, advice on how to proceed. In case of criminal findings, we recommend that you report them to the police.
